Equine Metabolic Supplement

GTF Chromium Yeast is for performance horses on high grain intakes or horses with elevated blood sugar that do not respond to a low sugar/starch diet.  Recommended minimum trial period is four weeks of consistent use.

Chromium is a mineral important for several biological functions.  One of Chromium’s most essential functions is insulin response.  Chromium is critical in the production of a substance called Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF), a water-soluble complex containing Chromium, which is needed for normal glucose tolerance and is important for the support of insulin activity.
