Milk thistle has been shown to not only support liver health and immune-boosting properties, it has been proven to reduce the harmful effects of cytokine production in laminar tissue that leads to a breakdown of the laminar bonds in the hooves of horses. Milk Thistle is also a very effective chelator of excess iron that can lead to compromised hoof quality, especially in older horses.

In addition to the 60+ vitamins and minerals contained in Acadian Kelp Meal, the full range of essential amino acids contained are essential for proper hoof growth and integrity.
